RentBuddy BackStage and BackStage Pro

Expand your Rentbuddy rental software with the RentBuddy BackStage App for Android and/or IOS. If you own the RentBuddy BackStage module, a BackStage App is available for FREE download for all your employees and freelancers. With the paid version BackStage Pro version you get many additional useful features to better facilitate your rental activities.

As a user of the RentBuddy App, either as a freelancer or an employee at multiple companies, you have the option to sign up with those companies, which also use the RentBuddy BackStage App. So you can work for multiple companies with one App when you use RentBuddy.

Time and expense registration

Registering your hours and expenses can be done quickly with the RentBuddy App. These can be recorded per project, but registering hours and expenses is also possible without a project. Start your working day by logging in to the app and start clocking in. At the end of your working day you can simply clock out and register the total time directly on your timesheet. 

Claims for parking fees, lunch and dinner vouchers and other expenses can be recorded directly on the project and in your name. All hours and expenses are approved and validated in the back office. The crew chief can then also check whether the costs and hours have been recorded correctly. As soon as the hours and expenses have been validated, they can only be viewed by the employee and cannot be changed.


Viewing the schedule is at the heart of the RentBuddy app. The planning is always up to date via the app and can be viewed at any time.
Printing the schedule on paper is no longer necessary, but of course it is still possible.  

Availability and leave

As an employee or freelancer, you want to inform the organisation of your availability quickly and easily. The RentBuddy App makes it possible for you to request leave and view your leave days. 


You want to have as much project information as possible at your disposal.
Documents such as Callsheets, Work Orders and Drawings can be shared between RentBuddy and RentBuddy App using RentBuddy SmartDocs.
Customer details, location details and other memos can be viewed via the Rentbuddy App. Of course, a bill of materials should not be missing either!


You can use the RentBuddy App to view the stock and availability of items straightaway. It is also possible to view instructions, descriptions, dimensions and weights of articles directly.

RentBuddy BackStage App

RentBuddy App is available for Android and IOS (Apple) and can be installed for FREE by your employees or freelancers. It is also possible for the employee or freelancer to use the RentBuddy App for multiple organisations that have the RentBuddy App module.

The RentBuddy SmartDocs is required for recording and retrieving documentation. With RentBuddy SmartDocs, the documentation is stored in the cloud and is therefore also available for the RentBuddy App.

With a BackStage Pro account, you also have the ability to add even more features to your rental business.
