You only need and can be updated to the latest version. With the latest version you then also have all previous patches/releases. So if you go from 6.9.12 to 6.9.20 you have the intermediate patches also available and you can read through the release notes for each version what has been changed or modified.

version 6.9.6115-01-2025 Number of notifications : 1	Improve Continued update on version 6.9.60 Ruler feature While switching tasks in the Personnel Needs screen in conjunction with using the new ruler feature, you could get the same error message that we previously fixed in version 6.9.60. We fixed this immediately after getting this notification.
version 6.9.6010-01-2025 Number of notifications : 1	Bugfix Error message when using Ruler function in personnel requirement At the request of customers, we immediately delivered the new ruler function in the Personnel Requirement screen. This was previously planned for Version 7, but we made the function available earlier. Only when deleting a function from the Personnel Requirement screen in combination with using the ruler function, the user received a notification that a column was no longer present, which was annoying. With many functions, you have to click away the notification multiple times, which we have now fixed.

In preparation for this, we have activated license management on transportation resources in version 6.9.56. For prices per transportation resource license, please contact our sales department. Improve Prepayments screen improved We have made minor improvements to the new prepayments screen.
version 6.9.5521-10-2024 Number of notifications : 3	General OpenKvK The API link with OpenKvK had been modified by the supplier without notifying its customers. As a result, we had to modify our RentBuddy software to get the API link working again. Feature NEW: processing advance payments Capturing prepayments can be done per invoice. However, we received a request to develop an option to enter multiple prepayments in a row more quickly. We have now created a screen prepayments that allows you to do this. For questions, please contact the helpdesk. Improve Rights to adjust prices and factors addressed In addition to the setting "May see prices" , you can now define whether a user is allowed to adjust prices or factors. The user setting/rights to adjust prices and factors was not yet supported everywhere.
version 6.9.5415-10-2024 Number of notifications : 6	Feature Writing hours at employment agencies With the Temporary Agency module, it is possible to quickly schedule multiple hires and assign names. Once the names are assigned, you now also have the option for this temp agency PER hire worker (employee) to record the hours. Improve Removal of time schedule further improved Until now, it was allowed to delete an entire time schedule or day without first deleting scheduled employees. We have now made the controls the same as deleting a timetable line(time line). By doing this, you do not lose the information of who is scheduled and as a user you have to delete it on purpose yourself. Improve Booking profiles general ledger account for Service Items While defining the general ledger account for service items within a booking profile, it was not correctly stated where exactly to define it. We have changed the description for the booking profiles so that it can now be set up better. Feature Hour correction recorded per hour line In the timesheet within a claim form it is now immediately visible whether there are hour corrections recorded on a timesheet. As a result, it is no longer necessary to open the hour line details and you can now see it directly in the overview. Improve Discount on Transport Items The application of discount on transport items has been improved. In some cases the discount was not displayed and only changed the gross price. This was not always clear to the customer on the quotation. Improve Several improvements made We also made several improvements in this version for deleting data where other data was still dependent. In addition, we received reports that there were columns that could no longer be changed. We investigated this and fixed it where it applied.
version 6.9.5310-09-2024 Number of notifications : 2	Improve Packing slip handling missing mandatory inventory number When a user has selected COMPLEX RETURN or COMPLEX RETURN, but inventory numbers are required, it is no longer possible to handle the packing slip or return slip. This has been adjusted on the Handscanner and in RentBuddy PC. Improve Improvement in scanning inventory number We have improved the scanning of an inventory number on the scanner and in Rentbuddy on the PC. Increasing the number scanned and capturing inventory number is now done in 1 operation. For companies with poor internet connection, this could be annoying at times.

version 6.9.5103-09-2024 Number of notifications : 2	Improve MyPonto ING statements Due to a change between MyPonto and an ING Bank account, the descriptions were retrieved differently. Due to this, Rentbuddy had to make a change. Feature Environmental Zones At the request of several customers, we have now made it possible to add and link environmental zones to the fleet. It has also been made possible to indicate that the vehicle uses an Electric power source. This can help in planning trips / Transport.

Bugfix Colors in the staff schedule While fixing a bug, the colors had accidentally disappeared in the staff schedule. So we fixed this immediately.
version 6.9.4929-08-2024 Number of notifications : 2	Improve Performance/Speed of mutation entry Searching for a creditor on the enter mutations screen was in some cases taking longer than usual. We have modified the search screen. Improve Performance/speed of creating or booking invoice We completely adjusted the speed at which the Invoicing Project screen opened. This made opening and creating a new invoice faster in some cases.
version 6.9.4827-08-2024 Number of notifications : 7	Improve Disconnecting sublocations from main location It is now easier to disconnect a sublocation from a main location Improve Sub-location address data updated evenly The address data of a sub-location is automatically kept the same as the linked main location. Feature Linking sublocation to task Sublocations can now be linked to tasks within a project. In the future, this will be further expanded to the ability to print this on reports. Feature Order of definition rules We have made it possible for the dinition rules (the choices under definitions/agreements) to also be sequenced. This makes it more user-friendly while capturing this data with a project. Improve Added project grouping group name/description. At the request of our customers, we have extended project grouping with code and group name(Description) The project grouping code will be used as a reference while exporting to Exact Online. Feature New venue/locations search screen Within projects, the Venues/locations search now features a new search screen where sub-locations are displayed separately from the main locations. Improve Sales reporting improved There were still two errors in the Invoiced Sales report when breaking down by month. We fixed the errors immediately.

This makes it possible to record rooms, halls or other sublocations to a main location. Feature Venues/locations to filter by venuetype In the maintenance screen of Venues/production locations, it has now been made possible to filter between venue types. Improve Item search screen while unique item number was specified. When entering items, one increasingly got a search screen while the item number was still unique. We have now solved this. Improve Function memo warning icon disappeared When a MEMO field was entered in the staffing requirement, a warning icon appeared. However, after placing a crew on or from this function, the icon was removed because it was checked incorrectly. After refreshing the screen, the icon was back nicely, but this interfered with scheduling. Improve Selectable items in the purchase journal When booking in the purchase ledger, you would get an error message when you clicked on the 'SEARCHABLE POSTS' tab if you did not have it set up. This is now neatly caught without error message Bugfix Bank statement descriptions not visible (MyPonto) The link between your MyPonto bank mutations and entries of financial mutations has been running for a while now via a new logbook. However, in some screens the link was still shown on the basis of the outdated logbook which is no longer updated. As a result, descriptions of the bank statements on the general ledger accounts were often no longer visible. We have repaired this Feature Callsheet file name expanded with project number The Callsheet is not saved and was always given CALLSHEET.PDF as the file name when sent through the Personnel Information Center. From now on, the callsheet will have the project number included in the name. Feature Project number and name in subject during callsheet emailing When sending the callsheet from the staff information center, we now include the project number and project name as the subject of the e-mail message. Feature Stock mutation balance with 0 differences When counting your items on, for example, a balance date, you want to be able to record that no differences have been found. You may want to record a mutation with 0 differences. This was previously not possible, but at the request of customers we have changed this. Feature Order of 'free definitions/appointments' It is now so that the 'free definitions/appointments' of a project come in the same order as they were previously set up in the master data. It is now possible to set the order of these 'free definitions/appointments'. This makes it more user-friendly during the capture at a project. Improve Send automatic attachments with invoice We have incorporated the option to send automatic attachments with invoices from now on. Until now, this was only possible for quotations. Improve MyPonto mutations debit or credit When making an entry from a MyPonto mutation, we will now transfer the Debit or Credit settings from the entry and not (more) of the general ledger account. This has reduced the chance of making an error while entering the MyPonto mutation Improve Search for Creditor/Debtor improved In CREDITOR/DEBITEUR you can now also enter a search name or number to quickly find a debtor or creditor instead of only using a number. General LAYOUT: Hours of work description changed A while ago we made the description field no longer mandatory when entering hours and expenses. This change may affect your own layouts so that the work description may no longer be visible. There is therefore a chance that the field that is now being used will have to be changed from hours_omschr to hours_work_omschr. As of this version, we have changed all 'standard' layouts from RentBuddy.

version 6.9.4409-07-2024 Number of notifications : 8	Bugfix Project numbers as ++++ In the Stock Conflicts screen, long project numbers were not always visible and plus signs appeared. Bugfix Project numbers too short The project number column was too short on the inventory numbers screen. Feature New fields for hiring form personnel New fields have been added for the layout hiring form staff. The main project number and project variables can now be printed. Improve Hiring voucher staff detail data To assist users in supporting old hiring vouchers used for hiring personnel items, fields have been added to allow for this. Bugfix Checklist completion remained visible When a checklist was distributed to multiple employees, the checklist always remained visible under open and completed checklist items. The radio button / filter was not properly applied under these unique circumstances. Improve Staff information center improved We have reprogrammed 30% of the personnel information center screen. Our supplier no longer supports certain functionalities, which were only applicable in this screen. It went wrong mainly when sending an e-mail message with a text message. This has been fixed, but we have also adjusted several things on this screen. Improve Production site documents in staff information center Production site documents were not visible in files in the personnel information center. Improve Crew list on offer has new sorting It is possible to create a crew list (Overview of functions per day) to print on your quotation layout. At the request of customers, we have changed the sorting of these. The lines are now sorted based on TASKS, DATE, ORDERREGEL VOLGOR.

This reduces the number of forms that need to be retrieved and improves speed. Improve Declaration management notification modified. In the notification message, instead of the name of the accordor, the name of the declarant was listed. Improve New fields for quote crew list New fields have been added to the quote crew list. The new fields can be found in the reporting fields under quotations.
version 6.9.4125-06-2024 Number of notifications : 2	Bugfix Divide by zero during copy project When you use cost accounting, it can determine the rental price of items. If the calculation is not fully or properly recorded, you will get a price of 0 as a result. This then gave the error message Divide by zero (Dividing by 0). This is now taken care of. Improve Purchase Order during purchase journal entry It was no longer possible to capture a hiring order during the purchase journal entry. We have fixed this and also made it possible for you to enter both Material and Personnel hiring orders.

This makes it possible to now update this data yourself. Improve Being able to plan several LAST Scheduled employees directly You can now select multiple LAST Scheduled employees in the staff schedule and add them with 1x click. The scheduling assistant helps you select quickly.
version 6.9.3713-06-2024 Number of notifications : 2	Feature Planboard Personnel now also shows TIME-ACCEPTED option The Personnel Planning Board screen now also shows the color of TIMELY ACCEPTED option. This was previously only visible in Personnel Planning. Improve Long Term Invoicing Improved. Preview printing of a long term invoice was not printing. Only while booking multiple invoices at the same time, the invoices did print neatly. When a single layout of the user was present, RentBuddy's default layout was still printed. Lastly, we have also improved 'date to' billing and will now take over the end date specified by the user.

When a freelancer has no address, no hiring order was created for the freelancer. Feature New reporting fields We have added new reporting fields at the request of our customers. For example, with a packing slip or return slip, loading and unloading times per Item can now be retrieved and printed. Feature Reporting sortings improved The descriptions of the 'sortings and groupings' have been rewritten and greatly improved. Sometimes the description did not show exactly which columns were sorted by. This has now become a lot clearer and made available to everyone. Improve English translation already implemented in the patch. Two new screens that are often used in version 6.9, Article turnovers and Hire orders personnel, have been immediately provided with the English translation.

version 6.9.3431-05-2024 Number of notifications : 10	Feature Project grouping added to project From now on it is possible to group projects using project groupings. This field can also be used for exporting to EXACT ONLINE's project management in a future update. Please contact the helpdesk for more information. Feature Visual red when planning hours do not match PL hours Within the screen control project hours is now more clearly visible through red color, when the planning hours do not match the specified PL (project leader) hours. Feature Employment agency hours check When checking hours on a project, there was a problem with temp agencies. Temporary workers were grouped together, this made it impossible to check the hours of several temporary workers exceptionally and/or the PL (project leader) could record times. This is now possible with the condition that this is only possible once there is also a NAME (unique name) is known and passed along in the schedule. This works with Uitzendbureau module. Feature Long-term billing RentBuddy is developing Long Term Invoicing and has made the first version available. It is possible to bill rental items on a rental project multiple times. Other items are only invoiced once, such as personnel and transportation costs. To do this, you need to create a project type with the status LONG TERM. Then, through the main menu [Long Term Invoicing] at any time an invoice run can be created. Per invoice run, all projects that have the project type LONG TERM are included in the invoicing. NOTE: Long Term Invoicing is still a BETA and will be improved in future updates. If you have any questions about the new Long Term Invoicing module, please contact the RentBuddy Team. Bugfix 'Nothing to bill' message We found out that you no longer neatly got the notification 'Nothing to bill' when the entire project was fully billed. We have fixed this again so that it is clear again. Feature Being able to enter own time as a correction at PO It is possible to enter OWN TIME as a correction while creating a PO (hiring order personnel) Improve Staff planning staff turnover display improved In personnel planning, you can immediately see the revenue per project, per day and per function. However, planned hours were taken into account instead of the hours charged to the customer. This has now been adjusted so that the figures now close even better. Improve KM calculation during PO creation, now uses relation address data Calculating KMs while capturing a PO (hiring order personnel) was posted to the creditor's address. Because sometimes users had not directly created a creditor of a freelancer, from now on we always conrtol the address of the relation, regardless of whether a creditor is already known. Bugfix New sorting warehouse location gave an error message. When the new sorting on 'Warehouse location,item group' was set to an uncompressed packing slip layout, you got an error message that the sorting field ITEM_ITEMGROUP_SEQUENCE was not known. Feature KM price commitment per staff schedule now printable Printing the captured KM price per staff schedule for a hiring order has now been made available.
version 6.9.3322-05-2024 Number of notifications : 8	Improve Sorting of hour lines Within a claim form, hours are sorted ascending by date and within that by start time. This makes the overview more logical. Bugfix Error message during sorting in time lines There was a slight possibility, that the user received an error message after changing the sorting in the hour lines. Bugfix Share document button (Shared documents) The button to share a file publicly (Shared documents) was not working with SMARTDOCS for some users. We have reviewed and improved all screens Improve Login name made longer It is now possible to use a login name longer than 12 characters. Improve Co-worker rates pass through When you want to enter changed rates of fellow workers, you must now first click OK (save) before clicking the [insert rates]. This will prevent you from going wrong with implementing the changed rates. Improve Note capture by work function While generating a PO (Hiring Orders Personnel) for 1 freelancer, all freelancers on this project were linked the same hiring order. When you were generating POs for ALL freelancers, things were going well. This is now fixed. Improve Nocturnal hours not shown in control project hours When checking project hours, the hours lines were often not shown in the night hours, especially if these hours were entered separately from a project of a previous day. Improve New fields added in personnel planning In preparation for new work, new fields have been added to the personnel planning details. These include Own time in minutes and Own driven KMs
version 6.9.3216-05-2024 Number of notifications : 5	Feature Capture notes by work function Through the personnel requirements, notes can now be added per day and per work function. Double click on the function to be able to capture a note. Improve Scheduling rights on job moved Setting up scheduling rights has been moved to the Employees screen. Improve Button for calculating ORT in ORT statement. The button for calculating ORT, was not always visible in the ORT settlement screen. Feature Resources tab added to personnel requirements In a new Resources tab in the Personnel Requirement screen, you get an at-a-glance view of final scheduled employees. Feature Control time registration Through employees screen you can now open a control overview of all written and scheduled hours.

Improve Applying grouping order lines (Web orders). When processing a web order to a project, the Grouping of order lines setting was not checked. As a result, the groups were not created. Improve Improving checked out inventory number verification When scanning an inventory number, it is now even better checked whether an inventory number has been checked out in the past. Feature ORT first delivery As of version 6.9.32, we have the first delivery for ORT (Irregularity allowance) made available Bugfix Order lines order during move While moving order lines to another timeline, we now ensure that the order lines order remains the same. Improve Personnel hiring orders not visible from main menu Hiring of personnel is done per project and is always correctly open from the project. But when you were opening all hiring orders from the main menu, hiring orders for personnel were not displayed. This had several causes and we have improved it in this version. Improve Creating hiring orders without supplier When you were creating a hiring order, the supplier field was mandatory. However, with certain hiring orders there is not always a supplier, only a Creditor is known. We have made the supplier field no longer mandatory. Improve Month fully written out in email text In a specific text template for inviting employees, it was not yet possible to have the month automatically appear fully written out, only the short description was available. This has now been changed at the request of our customers. Bugfix Error message when moving a loose schedule When you move a loose staff schedule and it specifies a date outside the range in which you are working, you receive an error message. Bugfix Capture KM when hiring staff In the latest version, we have made it possible to capture KMs when hiring staff. Some users received an incorrect message about authorization. This is now fixed.

Bugfix When creating the quote and at the time you wanted to send/email the quote directly, you could see the message 400 BAD REQUEST message. Everything else worked fine but this message is obviously annoying. What went wrong was that even if you did not check the Mollie payment link, it was still created. And the result was that a status of the payment link was requested which gave the 400 error message. NOTE: This also occurred in some cases since version 6.8.57. This has now been fixed. Improve We have the list of INVOICED ITEM SALES adjusted so that you can now also print a breakdown of your invoiced sales down to the component level. However, discrepancies may arise here. Example is that the current list will always match one-to-one with your invoiced sales in projects. However when testing this new option with various customers sometimes delivered some discrepancies. For example, there are customers who have defined a Item as SUMMARY, but have no components attached to it. It is then actually a "normal" Item but because of the missing components you miss in the list on type 2 this breakdown of course. Best is to put those items back as normal items. Another example is that in projects one creates FORECAST NOTES. This means that in the income statement, of course, sales have been booked but no articles have been used in these invoices. But with this extension it is now possible to get even more insight down to the component level. Another advantage is that if components are included in another fixed composition Item , the total historical turnover on that component will now also remain visible due to this modification. Improve In the financial administration you can use DEPOTS with creditors. Suppose you have to transfer an amount as a deposit to your supplier, with the real invoices being settled later by your supplier. For example, when delivering fuel, this is quite common. You should then create a general ledger account of the type CRED. In that case, when the payment is made, it can be posted directly to the creditor as a deposit. With this ledger account, RentBuddy will not ask for a purchase invoice that does not exist, after all. Later, when booking the purchase invoice via a memorial entry, you can then(and) the deposit amounts are settled. The reason we put this in the release notes is that in the CREDIT screen, the balance of the deposit amount was reversed. So a DEBET became CREDIT and vice versa. Tools After a while, your main RentBuddy folder can get pretty "full" with all versions of RentBuddy. For every new update/patch, RentBuddy automatically installs it. We now have the option to help clean up your hard drive by removing the old versions from your laptop or workstation. To do this, go to : Settings -> Tools -> Clean up old versions Improve Since version 6.9, you automatically get a checkmark above the columns with CHECKS from within the tools. However, because in many screens in RentBuddy is already developed by us, this comes (sometimes) now double on the screen. We have already turned it off in several screens. It also appeared in the personnel requirements, where it is not desired. We have now removed this check mark above the columns. Improve For new customers, all 13,660 locations Germany by default. For existing customers, a one-time import can be performed to automatically import these 13,660 locations into your country table for Germany. Feature At the request of our users it is now also possible, in addition to the fact that we previously enabled the de-duplication of Creditors in the financial administration, to implement this now also for Debtors. Attention! The deduplication of debtors has more consequences for rental projects and the invoicing of orders/contracts in RentBuddy. For example, after deduplication it is no longer possible to create a credit note or set off advances with the push of a button. In short, deduplication of debtors is best carried out when there is nothing else "in progress" for the debtors in question. So use this option very thoughtfully, however. Bugfix When mailing quotation you got the message that the PDF was missing if you did not have a layout linked to the quote and you could not continue. Improve In very rare cases, you could get an error message when booking a credit note. When one made a credit note on invoices from two different financial years AND if there were also advance notes to be settled that were booked in the memorandum journal. It was then indicated by RentBuddy when booking that the journal could not be found. However, this was an unjustified message because the two accounting years meant that the correct accounting year was not being looked at. (#231171) Feature Notifications can be sent to multiple staff members in RentBuddy. Think of accepting an invitation from a staff member or converting a quote to an order confirmation. However, it was the case that if one staff member handled the notification that it was logged off for ANYONE. This was not desirable in some cases. We have now made it so user-friendly that you can indicate PER EMPLOYEE and PER NOTIFICATION TYPE whether his/her action of reporting completion is only for him/her or for all other colleagues as well. With this we have given the notifications even more functionality. Bugfix When a user does not have rights to create debtors and creditors their rights are neatly removed. Since we believed that if you can invoice you should also be able to create the Debtor it is still possible in Invoicing. The button for creating Debtors remained active there. However, we have now also implemented these permissions in invoicing because more and more non-administrative employees find RentBuddy's invoicing process so simple that they are often no longer done by the administration. However, managing debtors and creditors is what people want to be able to authorize in this way. So we have now implemented and improved that. (#231162) Bugfix In the reports, we have also implemented the calculation and changes from 6.9 in the extension toward venu and address data for future transportation planning in several places. (#190705) Bugfix When you pressed the MyPonto mutations tab at INSERT MUTATIONS and there were no transactions linked you got an error message EMPTY LIST. A legitimate message but looked like a bug and therefore the message has now been removed.
